The Dhol is a type of drum commonly used in Bhangra music. It is a large, double-sided drum that is worn around the neck of the player, who plays using 2 wooden sticks. The stick for the bass drum (dagga) is curved at one end. The stick for the other end (thili) is thinner and more flexible.
